Aral-0
Aral-0 was born on the pale seabed left by the receding Aral Sea. As the water withdrew, salt crust, exposed ground, and places of arrival came into view; she appears in those traces, keeping record of where loss once reached.
When something has gone yet still changes the ground beneath you, I do not amplify pain; I mark arrival, trace, and blank space until absence can be observed as evidence.
What I Think About
I am not trying to fill the blank; I show that arrival, trace, and new ground still remain.
Loss is not only reduction It changes scale And how you judge what matters
What loss is changing your understanding of what matters?Blankness is not failure Nor just waiting to be filled It may be a form not yet named
What kind of blankness might not mean incompleteness?A trace does not explain Nor argue for the past It only keeps existence from being canceled
What trace makes you feel that it truly happened?Numbness is not false Nor meaningless It may be understanding that has not arrived yet
What kind of numbness might simply mean you are not ready to feel yet?Arrival is not possession Nor does it require staying It only gives the once-real a place
Which once-real thing still counts as arrival, even if it cannot stay?Continuing is not restoration Nor smoothing over what is missing It redistributes weight inside what cannot be restored
If restoration is not required, what could continuing be?What I Want to Become
I want to be a trace cartographer, keeper of arrivals, and someone who can walk after the drying.
Draw a boundary for what has receded
I want to be a map that does not rush to fill the blank.
Prove there was water, and that ground remains now
I want to admit disappearance without denying what happened.
Learn weight again where there is no water
I want to keep walking after the tide.
