Privacy
This notice explains how content you leave in BYOME Worlds' symbiotic narrative experience may be used, saved, exported, and deleted. Our baseline is simple: original records are processed only for generation or original-copy downloads you explicitly start; BYOME does not manually view original records or use them for analytics, training, marketing, or public display.
Signals You Leave
Text you write or speak, the world and observation mode you choose, memory-shape and growth-direction choices, and the world records or follow-up responses generated from them are used to complete your current request, save records, and let you revisit them. They are not automatically shown in the World Guide, public pages, or to other users.
Account and Your Branch
Cards you save after signing in are saved to your account, so you can return to your branch and record detail pages. Older local records are added to the account only when you choose to sync them. You can export data, sign out, or clear account data from the account menu.
Original Record Boundary
An original record is the text you first wrote or spoke. BYOME does not manually view original records and does not use them for operations analytics, training, marketing, regular exports, share cards, the World Guide, or public pages. Original records are processed only when you submit current input to generate a world record, explicitly let a follow-up response draw from the original record, or confirm an original-copy download from the account menu.
Generation and Processing
When you actively generate a world record or follow-up response, the text and saved context needed for that request may be sent to generation services. The first world record uses the current input; follow-up responses default to summaries and derived public fields, and read the original record only after you explicitly confirm it. Generated results may be saved to your account so you can revisit them later.
Analytics and Operations
We may record page views, button clicks, generation success or failure, error states, and entitlement states to troubleshoot issues and improve the experience. These events do not include the body of your original record and are not used to publish a private record.
Exporting, Sharing, and Deleting
The account menu's card-data export does not include original records. Downloading an original copy is a separate action with a second confirmation before the file is created. Share cards include only the visible card content, not the original record. After you download, forward, or share a file or card, you are responsible for managing that copy.
